2nd ECOSENS Scientific Event: A novel approach to assess and establish the socio-economic role of nuclear energy at country level

The 2nd Scientific Event will continue with a session on 1st October, 2024 in Bucharest and will be dedicated to the new economic model proposed by ECOSENS to be applied in guiding researchers and policymakers in evaluating the adoption of nuclear technologies within national contexts.

Innovative holistic approaches such as the System of Provision approach, socio-economic indicators like the Social Discount Rate, and sustainable principles such as the Circular Economy will be discussed in the empirical context of nuclear technologies. The event will include moments of discussion and active engagement from all participants. The event will be in person, but online options for interested will be available to follow presentations.
